Adjust the Smartglasses settings

You can adjust the brightness and position of you see in the Smartglasses. This guide will walk you through how to do that.

• Locate the power button on the inner left side of the glasses.

• Press and hold the button for 3 seconds.

• Wait for the green light to appear next to the button.

• Put on the glasses to see the Vuzix loading screen.

If you don’t see the green light or the Vuzix screen, please plug in the glasses to charge. Wait a few moments and try turning them on again.

Once your glasses are powered on,

• On the touchpad, swipe forward, to move to the right, until your reach the gear icon

  • Swipe forward with one finger to move to the right and swipe backwards with one finger to move to the left.

• Tap to select the gear icon and open the settings

• Locate the [Device] option and tap the touchpad to select it

• Tap to select [Display]

• Tap to select [Brightness]

• Swipe forward and back on the touchpad to find the setting you prefer. Tap to select it

• Swipe forward to [Position] and tap to select it

• Swipe forward and back to move the view-screen up and down. Tap to choose to the position you prefer

Your glasses will likely be already set to Dark Mode by default. To change this,

• Swipe forward to [Light/Dark Mode] and tap to select it

• Tap to select [Mode]

• Select the mode you would like to use

Tip: To quickly go back to the home screen, use two fingers on the touchpad and quickly tap 5 times.
