Allow and Approve DHH User Requested Sessions

Edited

Users can request their own SignGlasses sessions if you allow it. Once a user has submitted a request, it will go to you and any other admins for approval.

This is a helpful timesaver, as it allows authorized users to input most of the information for their requests themselves, reducing the workload on your end.

Allow a User to Request Session

  • Log into your SignGlasses account

  • Select the Users page on the left-hand side of your screen

  • Select the DHH Participants tab at the top of your screen

  • Locate the user's name in the list

  • Click on the red "Invite to Submit..." text in the row with the user's name

The user can now request sessions!

Review & Approve a Requested Session

After a user submits a request, you'll find it under Event Requests on your Dashboard.

  • Click on the session to review it

    • You will also automatically receive an email from SignGlasses when a session has been requested. You can click Review Request straight from the email.

  • Add any extra details (like Zoom links, if needed)

  • Click [Approve] to confirm the request. and submit it to SignGlasses

  • Click [Reject] to deny it

Once you click [Approve], the session will show up on your SignGlasses calendar and we will work on finding a practitioner if needed.

Please note that we will not attempt to find a practitioner for this until the [Approve] button is clicked.
