Chat with your team and the client

While in SignGlasses session, you can send a message to the client and your team. They can also send you a message!


To send a message...

  • Join the SignGlasses Session

  • Click the [Chat] button at the bottom of your screen

  • Type and send your message in the chat box that opens on the right hand side

You have two chat options:

  • All Participants: Click into this tab to chat with everyone in the session. Everyone in the session can see this chat.

  • Practitioners: Click into this tab to chat with only your team. The client cannot see this chat.

Use the Practitioners chat to discuss handoffs with your team and anything that the client doesn't need to be notified of.


Keep an eye out for the red 🔴 icon!

If you see a red 🔴 icon pop up on the [Chat] button, it means you have a message from the client or your team.

Click on the [Chat] button to view the message.


This chat does not reach SignGlasses Support - only the people in the session. Though we may join this chat occasionally, (if someone in the session already reached out to us for help) we don't get notified about this chat.
