Chat with your Interpreters/Captioners

While in SignGlasses session, you can send a message to your interpreters/captioners or fellow users. They can also message you! You can do this whether you're using a browser window or our Mobile App.


If you're using a browser window...

  • Join the SignGlasses Session

  • Click the [Chat] button at the bottom of your screen

  • Type and send your message in the chat box that opens on the right hand side

Keep an eye out for the red 🔴 icon!

If you see a red 🔴 icon pop up on the [Chat] button, it means you have a message from your service providers or fellow users.

Click on the [Chat] button to view the message.


If you're using the Mobile App...

  • Join the SignGlasses Session in the app

  • Click the chat 💬 icon at the bottom-right of your screen

  • Type and send your message in the chat box

Feel free to close the chat tab after sending a message! You'll see a notification when someone responds. Click on the chat 💬 icon again to view the message.


This chat does not reach SignGlasses Support - only the people in the session. Though we may join this chat occasionally, (if someone in the session already reached out to us for help) we don't get notified about this chat.
